How Do You Really Beat Procrastination?

i always thought that procrastination was just laziness but this talk of self-regulation and mindfulness is kinda enlightening. maybe it's time to try new things. Does anyone have simple mindfulness exercises to start with?
A simple mindfulness exercise is to focus on your breathing. Take five minutes a day to just breathe deeply and focus solely on the sensation of air entering and leaving your body. It helps center your mind and reduces anxiety.

I've been using an app that blocks distracting websites during work hours. It's not foolproof, but it definitely helps keep my online browsing in check when I should be focusing.
