Will Automation Benefit Or Harm Developing Economies?

Reflecting back, during the early 2000s, there was a massive push for globalization which similarly promised widespread benefits but ended up benefiting some more than others. It feels like automation could go the same way unless we learn from past mistakes.
 
I think I read somewhere that automation is supposed to help everyone equally. But reading here makes me question if that's really the case or just idealistic thinking? 🤔

It’s definitely more complex than it seems. However, when used strategically, automation can indeed be a powerful tool to bolster economic development. The key is ensuring it complements human workforces instead of replacing them, promoting an inclusive growth model.
