Distributed Processing

In the current version of development and demonstrations we use four logical servers, two implemented in Node.js and two implemented in .NET 4.

The article " M&P H5J Distributed Processing on Internet" describes the function of each of these servers.

These logical servers can reside in one or more computers (physical servers).

The Node.js servers can run in a large number of platforms, that we list below, but so far we only tested them on Windows 7 and 8.

OS Tested
Android
FreeBSD
iOS
Linux
Mac OS X
OpenBSD
Solaris
WebOS
Windows 7 & 8

It is interesting to note that the Node.js servers can run on smartphones and tablets.

The .NET 4 servers were tested on Windows 7 and 8.1.
